I'll be changing the pipes to Hard Kromes on Thursday. Anyone else out there with the same pipes? The dealer is recommending them; I hope I'm happy after spending this much right after buying the bike.

macc1015, i also have a 2001 volucia and it backfired on decel. checked on the net and found that the pair valve that cycles the exhause back into the jugs causes the backfiring. Removed the pair valve and plugged the holes, no more backfiring. google "suzuki pairvalve" and view the response.
