has anyone else had the problem? I heard there was a recall on it not sure....My low beams went out on my car replaced the bulb asnd still nothing took it to my mechanic and he said to take it to the dealer there was no power going to them all the fuses have been check!!

There's a recall on that issue. The repair involves replacing a connector with a splice or maybe it is the other way around.

If that isn't the issue, check the DRL module.

My recall notice here says that the parts, etc. have already been sent to the dealers and the repair can be accomplished in about an hour if you have an appointment. I had it done for my 05 and then got a notice for the 04, which still needs to go in.

I had the same recall service (headlight issue) done on my kid''s ''04 when it was in the shop for something else recently. The repairs to these cars seem to be unusually pricey. I had to have a water pump replaced, and instead of the $22 for a water pump for my old Aerostar, this one went for a little over $250 plus labor. I am not above changing my own oil or belts or even a water pump, but it seems difficult to find a repair manual for these cars. I am a little bit uncomfortable when disassembling something I have never seen before.
