I started having some driving issues with my Aerio last week and my check engine light came on. I took it to my wife's brother in law who has a diagnostic unit to hook up to the ECU. It told him that the Mass Air flow sensor is bad. I called Suzuki and they said i had to buy a whole new throttle body. Is this true? What does the MAS look like? I removed what i thought was the MAFS and gave it a look over, but i dont know why i need a whole new throttle body. From what i understand the MAFS has a heated element that measures air flow and adjusts the engine accrdingly. The part i pulled out looked like it had two small heated elements stagered in a plastic cylinder at the begining of the intake, just after where the ruber hose connects the airbox to the intake. A new throttle body is over $1000!!

Thanks for any help.
